I worked with the idea of ‘‘standing’’ by balancing all my coins at that moment, a daily material with a minimal value ( 1 euro cent).
I wanted to observe the duration of the construction act in relation to the value of the material.
slow, fast, fragile, stable. I wanted to examine and develop the notion of ‘‘ almost nothing ‘‘ through a very slow process of art work construction, an action which is almost meditative, invisible.
